What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a therapeutic practice based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, used to support the body’s natural ability to heal and maintain balance. It involves the stimulation of specific points on the body using fine, sterile needles or low-level lasers as a non-invasive alternative. In addition to general wellness care, acupuncture is commonly integrated into orthopedic and sports medicine settings to help manage injuries, improve mobility, reduce inflammation, and support recovery. It can benefit individuals dealing with musculoskeletal pain, stress, fatigue, digestive and hormonal issues, sleep disturbances, and more. Whether you're an athlete recovering from an injury or someone seeking a holistic approach to health, acupuncture offers versatile and personalized care.
Why artifex?
The meaning reflects the skill, intention, and artistry that goes into every treatment. The word artifex comes from Latin, meaning “craftsman” or “artist” — formed from ars (art, skill) and facere (to make, to do). In ancient times, an artifex was someone who created with both precision and purpose, blending technique with intuition.
Therefore, artifex reflects my practice not only as a science, but also as a skilled craft. Each session is a careful, individualized practice — rooted in tradition, guided by skill, and dedicated to healing.
